About Kuturani

Kuturani is a project that seeks to facilitate the design and creation of hyperinstruments. To this end, we have created a device of the same name that monitors the performance of acoustic string instruments through the use of sensors and microcontrollers, allowing us to generate audio effects and synthesis in real time.

Our device is a model that provides a foundation for building other similar devices, so we've documented the development process and created a series of educational resources that you can find on this website.

This project, developed by Cristohper Ramos Flores, has been supported by the postdoctoral fellowship program of the Academic Strengthening Program of the DGAPA, UNAM, under the advice of Dr. Rodrigo Sigal.
